Janmastami with Gandharvika Giridhari: In my post Chowka or Tribhanga, in 2009, I expressed my great desire to worship Radha and Krishna in their deity form..Though this desire sprouted many years ago, it was always met with disapproval by the mind on close scrutiny. This year despite all odds, i was determined to bring home deities of Radha and Krishna. With Their arrival and worship, things have changed drastically for me.
Janmastami was different this year, a time to introspect and assess my status on the path of devotional service. It was a time of inspiration, seeing the various sevas offered by devotees worldwide to their personal deities and was marked by some extraordinarily powerful realizations of the same. Here is a video/slideshow, the pictures are by my daughter Vrinda, who also edited the pictures and gave them the present look!
